Default painting wheels

I have the polished clad wheels and was wondering if I painted the spokes blaxk if it would hold up. I was planning on prepping it and doing all the primer and using the best paint possible.

i tihnk it would ok, if you sanded down the wheel pretty good and degrease it..do like 2 layers of primer a few layers of black and like 3 layers of clear it should do fine .. ask a body shop or somethin and they'll tell ya

The best paint does not come out of cans.

Should consider either

1. Get a old set of rims and do those, in case it does not work. Then sell your originals
2. Get them powder coated.
