Cut the wires and with butt connectors insert a wire extension to the sensor.

Thanks for all the replys. The only thing i dont understand is that both the airraid jr and the true flow kit replace the filter and add a new tube from the TB to the airbox. It seems that this really would not add any cold air, so wouldnt it be just as beneficial to buy a mandrel bent tube off ebay, get rid of the resonator, and keep the K&N?

Thanks

If you try to select a CAI
by 'eyeball' or by sound
you are 90% certain to waste money
and get no real performance increase.

Why not buy a Nitrous Kit
or have your cylinder heads ported
and get a real HP increase for each $ spent?

The best CAI gives HP increases of 0-8
This is only when the filter is new and clean
and the gauze/foam filters clog up at twice the rate of paper filters
so that by 5,000 miles you are back to no gain.

Nitrous kits and head porting can easily give 40-80 hp gains
