Default Speedliner

I got my bed sprayed with Speedliner last weekend and it looks great, but last night I put my first load in it (a bunch of tools, jack, stands, heater, etc), and it scraped it in three places, so I'm thinking this Speedliner may not have been the best choice after all. I gave him that free Kevlar additive cupon on their site, and he supposedly added it, but who knows.

So I'm woundering now how much a rubber mat for the floor, or perhaps a cheap under the rail drop in bed liner would cost?

A bed mat would cost you 100-200 bucks. A drop-in liner will be more expensive.

I've never heard of speedliner. Do you have any info on them?

They aren't cheap. I got one for my 01 Dakota QC, smaller bed than Ram, and it was 100 bucks a few years ago.

$40 for a drop in or mat? I did a quick Google and came up with this:

http://www.pickupspecialties.com/bedmats.htm

$55 for a rubber mat, and $25 for a tailgate mat. I'm gunna ask the dealer that put my sparyin on tonight when I have him touch it up, as he claims he's never had anyone bring a job back for a touch up (even for heavy duty use).

Just make sure you get a Heavy Duty mat. That way you won't have something punture it and get into the bed surface.

My heavy duty rubber based liner was $70 new for 8 ft bed. Got it from Farm and Fleet store in Rockford Il.

I really prefer it over a traditional plastic liner that made my knee's scream in pain.
