Can someone elaborate....
I just checked mine the seat of the pants way, by brake torqueing. the tires turned loose at 1800 rpm and felt a solid bump when they did. I havent heard the factory stall is 2300, sure dont seem like it to me, the one in my Demon is 3 grand( advertised), checked it the same way, tires broke about 2800. I admit I dont know everything about newer trannys and converters, but 2300 seems a little steep
after i saw the pics of the driveshaft in two pices in one of these posts i'm worried....sorry no money tree though...The guy at the shop tried to get me to buy a whole new Hemi for $18000.00....Seemed alittle steep for me...Thank you for all your help guys this has really been informitive..I still confused about wet or dry NOS though...I got mine from Moes (Zex kit)
Here's What i think I'm gonna do....New driveshaft from Daves Driveline in vegas....shearadon heads...shift kit....And then have the t/c installed....I have a crane cam in the box still, and manley pushrods that need installing too...And then I dont Know...

The loser the convertor the higher your trans temps will be (due to the convertor slipping). Just dont get to aggressive with the stall and you will be fine. Also dont be cheap a good t/c costs $$$. The t/c in my stang stalls around 5200 and it's still very streetable. ALso make sure to get a good trans cooler. Long makes a nice unit called Tru-cool, not sure if they make them for a Ram but im sure they can be made to fit.
Wet shot is with an additional fuel solenoid, A dry shot is NO2 only, usually through the CAI, at most 100 hp shot dry, anything more and you will need additional fuel. With the long tubes, I would go wet only, or you risk a lean out. Welding a piston to the cylinder wall is no fun!! I am running a Comp Cam, 4.56 gears,, long tubes, and a steel driveshaft on a factory tranny, I am asking the tranny to blow, but thats what i expect from over loading the tranny, if you want to go fast, stuff is gonna break. When mine explodes i will get a better one!!
So larger fuel injectors, i would have to run the NOS all the time...Unless i get the smt-6 tuner....Or i can just get a new selonid?
I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to this stuff...Thanks Guys..

Heres what it said about the nitrous kit i bought...
Safely add 75 – 125 horsepower to 2003 and newer Chrysler Hemi truck engine applications Chrysler’s late model Hemi electronic fuel injected engines are the perfect platform for nitrous injection upgrades. The ZEX™ Hemi Truck Nitrous System includes all of the parts needed to add anywhere from 75 to 125 more horsepower to your Hemi engine that utilizes the factory fuel injection systems. The ZEX™ Hemi Truck Nitrous System comes pre-assembled, making for a simple plug and play installation (two hours from start to finish). For the ultimate in safety, the ZEX™ Hemi Truck Nitrous System includes Active Fuel Control™ to monitor nitrous bottle pressure and adjust the engine’s fuel enrichment setting so it’s never too rich or too lean. The ZEX™-patented electronic TPS switch uses the engine’s throttle position sensor to electronically activate the nitrous only at wide-open throttle for optimum performance.[/align]
