Hi everyone,
As the end of the month is nearing, I think I will be getting the Ram SOON! At the end of July, I got a price of $29,700 on $38,600 sticker price. The Ram I want is a 2007 Quad Cab, long bed, Hemi, 4x4, Thunder Road. At this point is the price of $29,700 still good, or do you think that I can get them to go lower? In July they seemed firm on $29,700. Any ideas? What should I aim for, or shouldI just be happy with the given price?
Thanks,
Zack

You want to get as close to invoice cost as possible. You can go to www.edmunds.com to find the invoice cost. Settle on this price before you start figuring in the rebates and such. This way it is less confusing. Don’t be afraid to stand up and say “I don’t need the truck that bad”. I tell you, you will not make it to the door before they say we can talk more. I’ve done it with all my truck purchases. Good luck and enjoy the buying. It really is not that bad. Red

"Were we able to help you out today? That's great. Do you know where you're going for physical delivery?"
or
"Were we able to help you out today? No? What were you looking at and what were you looking to spend?" These guys were good and they always were getting the customers back into the showroom. I would estimate that they saved 8 out of 10 deals that the original salemen let walk.
So my advice to you is don't be afraid to walk away. Winter is coming and sales will start to slow. They need you more than you need them.
