Engine stalling
I have a 2005 Ram 1500 with the 4.7 motor that just stalls or die for no apparent reason. Sometimes while stopped with my foot on the brakes, the car RPM will surge up and down. Check enigine light is NOT on. Not a lot fun when the engine dies while turning !!! Need some help.
Thanks!
Thanks!
....hey pare...kumusta...welcome to Dodgeforum...the stalling issue has shown up on my hemi as well...every so often it does it on me when I'm stopped...I'm gonna try and clean my tb as well...
Do the following:
1) Have dealer re-flash PCM - it's a TSB so should be free.
if not fixed then...
2) Replace EGR (most often this is the fix)
then...
3) Clean Throttle Body.
in that order... 99.9% of the time, one of these will make the problem go bye-bye.
