Well, i just got back from lake havasu and WOW, this truck can pull, i just got the 1500 4x4 slt hemi, When goin up cahone pass i hit the over drive off button and it would not slow down goin up the steepest part off the whole climb I was going 70. All while towing a 22 ft wakeboardboat and a fully loaded bed.

 

I just got a 2004 1500 4x4 slt as well for towing my boat and Jeep. The day I bought the truck I towed the boat (21' cuddy with a v8 i/o) for 86 miles and it towed like the boat wasn't even there. I haven't towed the Jeep yet but I've towed it's trailer, a 16' dovetail rated at 7k, loaded with furniture and it tows like a dream. Definitely better than the previous tow vehicle which was a v6 Ford Explorer.

 

I am glad your happy with your purchases. I bet you were scared to check the gas milage though, lol.

 

actually it only costs 180 bucks round trip for 650 miles, but goin up hills you can really see the geage move. Way better considering coming from a 91 chevy suburban with the 350

 

Nice. the Hemi is a great gas motor, My old 06 was nice. Are you going to go to havasu for the west coast havoc truck show when it is there?

 

na we just go for wakeboarding and partying

 

Havasu is a blast, as long as you don't drink too much!
