Yeah, i also have the fakes. I didn't wanna drop the money for the srt-10 hood right away. Granted they don't look great, but i think they add a good custom look...

dude...go look on ebay before you look at online stores, they are on ebay and cheaper as well....i would not buy the stick on scoop....it's cheap and why spend $300 for something thats non-functional when you can spend another $200 to get the hood and then get the functional ram air kit for it later down the road

For a hood scoop to work 'equal' to just picking up the air at the base of the windshield,
the scoop needs to stick up at least 6 inches higher than the flat surface of the hood.

If you glue plastic shark's teeth on a AK47
does that make it more effective?

no it doesnt , it also didnt make ww2 aircraft more effective either but it sure looks cool. Point being even it does nothing other then look good to the person that owns it so be it , I say stick it on back wards if you want. I dont care I might laugh though.

Mexi-

I had my hood done while my baby was in the shop after a fender bender. They ordered it from Autotrucktoys.com I believe. paint was under insurance cost so I think I did good by spending the money on the hood. It's definately worth it.

Americans like the Wright Brothers, Charles Lindberg and Howard Hughes
understood how ram air works
without ever having a college class on it.

Actually, if you google
'SuperMarine aircraft speed records'
or 'history of the Spitfire'
you can see that ram air modifications were carefully tried
and found to be effective for increasing maximum horsepower.

Google
"Pitot Tube"
and you can find out about how ram air works
and how it is also used to find the speed
aircraft and other vehicles are moving through the air,
such as:
