Hi all, i just wanted to start a thread to include specifics about the 4.7L engine. The hemi seems much more popular, heck I'd have one too if it was available with the 6-speed. I think it would be nice if there was a spot where we could just discuss the 4.7L in entirety, i mean ALL details, power, performace, gas mileage, upgrades, problems, experiences, whatever U can think of regarding the 4.7L post it here.

 

That would make for a good sub-forum for performance related issues on the 4.7

 

Place this over in the DF help and suggestion part of the forum. Or PM Hanson and see what he can do, but it is a good idea.

i agree, a seperate section would be nice

 

jump on over to the gen 3 dak section. thats all we have and its pretty said when you have a hooped up 4.7 that puts most hemis to shame.wether its in the 1/4 mile or stop light to stop light

 

Any good advice on improving the 4.7? Please Chime in....

 

Just to let everyone know there is a 4.7 thread we started a few weeks ago with about 3 pages of posts and a lot of good 4.7 info. I do agree....a separate 4.7 spot would be nice. Threads can get lost if no one posts for just one day. I'll send Hansen a PM.

 

PM sent to Hanson. Just so I'm not mistaken. We wanted a spot on the top section of the 3rd Gen page like where the exhaust mods posts are? Also I bumped the 4.7 Performance thread up that I was talking about. Maybe we could have Hanson combine these threads into the new section so we dont lose info.

 

Make a section for the 4.7's like there is for the 3.7's.
