Yes.... Whenever anyone asks me for fluid advice i will recommend amsoil if they make the fluid. I've had absolutely great luck with it. It seems to last longer than any other oil/differential/tranny fluid i've used. I've read numerous charts and articles on how its better for your vehicle and i've never heard a complaint from anyone. Anything i own with an engine has amsoil fluids in it..

I have also always run amsoil, its a fantastic product. I recently have been dabbling with Royal Purple as well. I have it in the wife's car at the moment.

One evening i had a conversation with several guys from a NASCAR pit crew. We discussed oils, and oil filters, and you would be surprised at what they said...
Basically All of them stated that...

I have absolutely nothing against mobil 1 at all. Its a great product, I just simply prefer Amsoil and like it a bit better....

(You kinda left that out, so I'll fill it in)
... they use Amsoil in their trucks at home?
I just converted my 3.9L over to synthetic (Mobil 1 in my case) at about 102,000 miles. It likes it.

Ok, lets make this clear as mud[sm=huh.gif]

Synthetic oil is new for me. I've researched it some but I would likepersonal input from those who use synthetic oil. I don't have deep pockets and synthetic oil cost around $8 a quart from what I've seen. But at the same time,I readyou only need to change your oil every 20,000 miles or so under normal driving conditions. Is this the case? If so I can say it looks to me it can save you time and money compared to changing your conventional oil every 3,000 miles. So synthetic oil users, how often do you change your oil and does it really last that long? (20,000 miles) And would you recommend waiting that long to change it?

No i would never recommend 20,000 miles. You never wanna let it go over 6 months no matter the miles. But i usually change mine every 3-5000 miles even with synthetic. That is going to seem like a bit much but i drive a company vehicle everyday so it takes a long time period for me to aquire those miles. Under normal driving conditions with synthetic i would recommend every 7500 miles or 6 months...
