Default Which ram am i talking about please read!

I am very very interested in buying a new ram rather it be 07 or 08. I had my heart set on a challenger and i got me an 2002 F-150 and like my brother/father i must have a truck. Its amazing and ever since i was around 12 i always wanted a Dodge Ram. I want the 5.7 hemi motor i like speed and power. other than that it will not be for hauling huge amounts of equipment or pulling trailors it will literally just be for casual driving and going hunting/fishing that kinda deal. I want the most "luxurious" that one has to offer. I want leather interior and a great sound system. From what ive looked at www.Dodge.com it looks like i would like the sport. I MAY BE WRONG. Is there a ram thats more luxurious than others and has more features?

2nd question, if anyone knows. I created my truck at www.Dodge.com and it said "MRSP 33,000" can i actually buy it from the website and have it custom built the way i typed in the way i want it? or is that a imposibility? Thanks ahead for all of your wisdom and your time.

If you want the most loaded you want the laramie. You have to go to a dealer to order it

^^^^+1... Back before 2001 I beleive you could get a sport with the laramie pacakge as well. I don't realy know why they stopped doing that. I would recommend you build your truck online and then look around several dealers as far away as you feel driving to buy it for one just like or as reasonably close as you feel comfortable. You can find better deals through some dealerships and incentive programs than buying factory orders.

When you add all the stuff you want from the website, at the end it should ask you for personal info for a dealer to get in touch with you. If they don't have it, they will look for it, and if they can not find it, they will order it for you. But like Hanson said, you get the most with the laramie package.

So i would have a better price of just going to a dealership showing what i want than ordering it off the dodge online site?

Laramie. lol. We have one. It is definitely worth it. We use it for basically for the same reasons you want one... Luxury. The dealer may have some on the lot, but sometimes you have to order it through them. This may make the price go up. But definitely try to make your own on dodge.com and do what L and R told you. You'll love the Laramie. I know we do!!

The website just gives you an MSRP of what you added up, you can't (and wouldn't want) to order it there. They'll get you in contact with a local dealer where you can take one off the lot or order one if they don't have what you want. You'll be able to negotiate a great deal if you are ordering one considering the dealer is going to make money for doing some paperwork. If you don't like haggling with a salesman find a no haggle dealership or buy one thru Costco or Sam's Club.
