sorry its been so long but its been on the side of the road. We got it towed to my friends house and we at first took off the cat to see if it could have been clogged. It wasnt bc it ran the same with or without the cat. So then we put a fuel pressure testor on the fuel line after the regulator. It read .5psi but it would barely run. So then we hooked the psi testor up w/out the regulator. If he turned the key to run, it would do its 2 second prime and the psi would go to 3psi. Without starting it, we turned the key to run and then off two more times for a total of 3 times all together. The psi testor red 10psi. I had him start it up and it ran perfectly, but after 3 seconds, the psi testor would slowly show 1 less psi every 2 seconds or so untill it read 0 and died. I suggested that there could possibly be a kink in the fuel line somewhere. Does that sound like it could be the problem?

 

sounds like a restriction somewhere. check the lines and if all is good then i would replace the filters. lastly maybe the fuel pump.

 

k ill take a look at them tomorrow and let you know. If anyone else has any input, feel free to post.
