275/60r20 vs 275/55r20... big difference?

It'll sit lower and knock your speedo off about 2 mph higher than it should be (it'll read 60 when you're doing 58). Since it's a full inch shorter you may notice a little bit better acceleration.

The difference in size between 275/55 and 275/60 tires is not significant, so you shouldn't worry too much about the cosmetic appearance of your truck. The main thing to consider is whether the new tires will fit properly on your wheels.
