yeah i'm thinkin you'd be pretty safe with saying it's a ball joint....however, i still like my flux capacitor theory better lol

You guys are allF^*&in nuts. Thats obviously a 3 3/4" pinckney flange!!!! LOL. We must all think alike cause my first thought before scrolling down was to call it a Flux Capacitor then I saw Hemiyellow's post so I thought HA i'll get 'em and say a Canooter valve. No luck. Just kiddin man. I agree. Looks like a greasable press in type ball joint to me.

my first guess was that it is the left-side linkage for the bumper fluid reservoir, LOL
good luck kid.....
go with the press-in, greaseable, ball joint

kinda looks like a hub for a rear wheel drive car (like a 300, magnum and that sorta thing)...if i counted right it's a 31 spline....i'd say it's a hub
