You painted your rims. What type of paint should I use? I guess what I'm saying is, would there be a possiblity to get some chrome paint and just spray it on there? And the 2nd part of the question is, how much is the paint?

Do NOT use the chrome paint.. It's the most hideous stuff ever. Your wheels will look 100x worse.

If you want shiny chrome wheels your only choice is to get them refinished. Buffing may help some, it just depends on the type and depth of the scratches that you have.

Some of the 02-05 20's are Chrome Clad. All of the 06-08 Chrome is Clad. There are some 02-05 that are not Clad. Just go knock on them and if you hear an odd plastic like sound then it is clad if it sounds solid then it may be the real chome wheels.

Keep in mind that upgrade would be a good option for ya. 22" SRT-10 wheels sell on ebay for between $12-1500.

Here's a chrome set cheaper than that http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/22-22...QQcmdZViewItem

Are your rims Chrome or Polished? The polished came with the early 3rd Gens(02-04 I think.) I believe the Chrome clad cover is mounted in a way that its permanent. But I'm not sure so PM Helopilot, he is pretty knowledgeable even though he fly's Chinooks...LOL!
