Default Debating what I should do next.

Added Mods : CAI - Airaid throttle body spacer - Flowmaster Delta flow exhaust - superchips programmer

I'm thinking somewhat of maybe just going for interior (sound) and such. I already added 4 infinity speakers in my rig and have just a 8' power sub to hold me over until I get something else. I'm thinking about going for maybe 2 - 10' subs that have a fitted box and amp that go under the rear seats of my quad cab.

But was wondering what you guys think I could do, within a decent budget of less than $1000. Perferabbly around $600 because thats about the cost of what its going to take to get these 2 inch subs.

Performance mod thats going to be worth it? You guys know of any?

I'm not going to be driving insanely whatsoever - just for all the people I meet up at red lights. Where i'm at I get a lot of young thundercats that have something they want to race with.

As much of a fan I am of bling, go-fast goodies and stuff that just "Car-guys" would add, I'm also a fan of performance items that are rarely seen, but do good as well....

Take your $600 and change the engine oil, rear fluid and transfluid over to synthetic if you haven't already. Sythetic frees up HPs....

Upgrade to a heavier front swaybar, or add a rear one.

I look at things like replacing existing suspension bushings with urothane bushings.

Again, If you want more HPs, spend $300 and get an electric fan, and ditch the manual one that robs the engine of HPs.

Just a few that come to mind..........

...if you want good low end performance...upgrade the cam to a comp 260 (most pcm friendly)...and/or get gears (4.56's)...the tb spacer doesnt do anything... something else to consider is headers...

yeah headers is a great option, can never go wrong with a cam, the e-fan is pretty easy install (i just did mine the other day) you could buy a TBI spacer....if you want a paper weight lol

Let's see, around your budget, gears would be nice. If your a 4x2 you could probably get 4.56 gears, master install kit and labor for around $600. I got 4.56 front & rear plus an Auburn LSD for around $1300 with labor, so take out the Posi and front gears with labor and I think the $600 is a good bet.

Or you maybe could ditch the gear idea until you had the cash to do a good aftermarket LSD at the same time. In that case maybe you could do the E-Fan & Headers now. The e-fan is a simple install and if you can weld you can do the headers yourself. Without having to pay for labor, you could accomplish both for at or near that $600...

Headers are probably going to run me 600 or more just to get the headers themselves. . . i dont know about being able to get the fan and headers for around 600 bucks man.

I guess maybe you don't shop so good. Your gonna have to sharpen your shopping skills if you don't want to go broke mod'n that truck.
You can get a good set of mid length headers for your '04 Hemi for under $250 (now granted that's not ceramic coated, but you're on a tight budget here) although you could stretch a little and get ceramic coated LT's and still be under $400! The fan should run you less than $250 for either the Flex-a-Light or Viper. So let's see, $250 for headers, $250 for fan, add a little for shipping. Now, granted, I've been out of College for almost 20 years, and ain't really up on the "new" math, but last I knew that was under $600, man.

Haha gotcha. . . see I might need some help with my shopping. What type of headers and from where would you recommend me getting a hold of these? The thing is I don't want to get some joe-blow headers unless they're just as good as name-brand ones. Lets see - like Gibson headers I've headers are dependable and quite good. I looked at sites like stylinconcepts.com and autoanything.com and they're all around $450 - $500 bucks What would u recommend man?

As for the electric fans, any brand? make and model?

Go to Moe's.
Here is the fan I have. $249, Great performance, super easy install, everything comes in the box + great docs.

Pacesetter mids (painted) for $249:

Pacesetter LT (painted) for $265:
http://moesperformance.com/index.php...roducts_id=359

If you could work it into your budget by expanding it just a tad you could get into ceramic coated versions of above for about $400. Would still only put you in the $650 range before shipping for the fan and some really nice dyno proven headers, with ceramic coating!

I've got the Pacesetter LT's, coated and they are awsome! Great sound with my exhaust, real throaty. Definate mid & upper RPM power gains.

Havn't checked, but AirRam is probably in that price range too, and I believe he's free shipping. Both places have impeccable reputations.
