Amsoil!!!

 

I am going to be switching to amsoil very soon. Jsut pretty darn expensive, especially when you factor in 12 quarts per oil change. with my old Hemi I used mobile 1 religously and it was fine. I use napa gold filters however been thinking of the k&n filters.

 

I always use Royal Purple in my two trucks. To me it's the best, but that is just me.

 

Amsoil is what i switched to at 3000 miles and i can go 6000 per oil change

All the name brands will have properties that will go far beyond how long you will leave them in your crankcase. I worked for a Mobil distributer back in the late 70s and it was interesting times with the Mobil 1. Cars back then weren't built with tolerances for such thin oil. People did run it 25k with filter changes every 5k back then and had no problems.

 

Mobil 1. period.

 

Just changed mine today using Royal Purple. Totalcost $65 with a Mobil 1 oil filter, I was going to try the K&N but they were out of stock. Second oil change with RP, and no problems.

i think i might have to go with amsoil and wix?!?!?! what would u do get mobil 1 for 30 bucks or amsoil for 55 bucks...
