Variable Valve Timing

 

Nevermind. I googled it. Very interesting. Will it be intelligent like the toyota system? Should make for an interesting exhaust note.

 

I think that yellow hemi means 375hp at the flywheel, I would very much doubt it that they will make it the same hp almost as the 6.1L unless they plan on bumping it up as well??

SO what does this mean, the 5.7l hemi is getting aprox 100hp added. This would make it the same as the 6.1L. That would be sick, this would kill every truck out there. If this is true I will be getting one. When will we be able to get the exact spec? I works for chrysler canada, i have no info yet.

 

u work at a dealership, MFG plant or what? My office looks right across the parking deck to intoChrysler HQ lol.....prolly wont get any specs until later in 2008 (closer to when they go into production)...we have a couple 09 vehicles with the new 5.7L Hemi in them and it's a hell of a difference between those and the old hemi....i'll double check once again but i'm positive it's 375 HP at the tires
