I heard a rumor that either the 08 or 09 4.7l engines were going to be tweaked to have a 300hp output (or close to). So if that is true what is the hemi going to climb to? 400hp? 400torque? Anyone know? I currently have an 02 4.7l but am looking to get a new truck in a year or two, i am want something that will tow a boat or trailer that isnot a diesel. A diesel pickup is not ideal for my short driving distances.

hawkdriver...i cant give ya too much info....much of what i know is still highly "secretive" lol......the 6.1L i can assure you will not be an option in the new ram however......

i'm pretty sure there using the VVT on the 4.7.....all the 5.7L will be getting it as well
