Dodge claims they maximized the intake for flow with the stock set-up. I used a drop-in K&N, but recently decided to extend the intake from the box to a lower position beside the radiator. This area is where cooler air can be pulled in vs. the stock location. There was a noticeable improvement. If you get a system, try and go with one that picks up cold air from below the rad., not one that gets it in the engine bay or stock location. Don't get anything from ebay seller "liveonspeed". This moron will sell you the same kit he sells for a 4.7L engine. The tubing is over 0.5" in diameter too small for the HEMI.

Don't laugh.

I cut the flared end of the intake to the box off and attached a piece of aluminium dryer duct. Knowing this would be a temporary thing. I'm in the planning stages of more permanent set-up, but still using the stock box and TB hat.

I think the combitation of that AirRam Jet Stream Scoop and the AFE Magnum Force cold air intake would work well together.
