Default Can anybody help?

I have an 04 CTD 2500 with tow mirrors and heated as well.I noticed thedriver side mirror has started moving like it is loose when I am driving. I moved it so I can see inside/behind the mirror and I can see the rubber has come out of the wire "clamp" on one side and that is what is making it jiggle. Is there a way to take it apart or something to fix it?Thanks!!

Go here and download the 3000+ page Dodge maintenance manual. It should give you all the info you need. It says Hemi on the link but it is for all engines.

http://www.summitvista.com/hemi

if that doesn't work, go to hemi truck club .com, no spaces, and you can download it off the left side menu at the bottom.

Ok, I downloaded the manual but it doesn't say/show anything about the rubber piece behing the mirror that I can see appears to be coming off and possibly why the mirror is jiggling. Anybody know anything about this??

Thanks again!

Did you see the pics on page 23-44? I am just trying to visualize what ruber piece you are talking about.

Yes I did. When I looked behind my mirror (I turned it to one side) it looks like the retaining clip goes all the way around and holds like a rubber boot under the retaining clip. I can see that one side of the rubber boot has come out from under the clip and I believe that iswhat is causing it to jiggle. The manual does not mention or show this rubber piece, that is why I am asking here if anybody else knows anything about it.

So I fixed my mirror, it just popped out of a clip so I popped it back in, but there is a rubber boot that was tucked in the retaining clip that is not longer in the clip and I don't see any wayof getting it back in. I am bummed about that since it obviously keeps the dirt out and I am a major desert rat.
