Living in Buffalo, I don't know if I'd go to a 180*, least wise not in the winter months. Ihave read a few posts of guys generating CEL's because of a 180* t-stat in REAL cold weather. With it being basically a 10 minute swap, you may want to consider a summer/winter switch. Maybe a tech. will chime in on this one.

Yea, I read quite a few posts about the heater not beingfor sh_t in the cold with the stat. But I think I read a post or two last winter where some guys up north were generating CEL's and the swap back to stock stopped it. I think somebody wrote where if the engine doesn't get up to a certain temp after running a certain amount of time a CEL is generated.
Like I said, you might want to consider the seasonal swap, or get better than this shade-tree mechanic's opinion.

The only Jet's I've seen have been online. The ones at local stores are for other vehicles and need to be modified in one way or another. Most have no problem after modifying them, I just prefererred to have one made for my vehicle, with a warranty.
What programmer did you settle on? If you are expecting it ANY day, you must have given up on the Diablo, since the latest from Mike over on their forum states he doesn't expect them to start shipping the DR Truck unitsforatleastanother month or so.

Maybe I should have installed one, before I added headers and exhaust. I don't know if I'm running lean, but I haven't generated a code. Can you only get a 180* stat online or can I go to like Pep Boys and get one...let's say a JET stat? I ordered my programmer 3 weeks ago, now. The shop said 2-3 working DAYS...WTF?!
