can we get abck to if it'll work on a 4.7? do they amke them seperate for the 4.7, or will the HEMI t-stat fit all?

You 4.7 guys are gonna hate this, but EVERY thermostat I find for Dodge Trucks lists 5.2, 5.9 & 5.7 Hemi... Doesn't mention 4.7.


Wait a minute found a JET 180* for 4.7 - it IS a different part than the Hemi one... Here's a link:

so since i got an intake and exhaust is it recomended that i get a 180 t stat?? also if someone who has one can take a pic of their temp gauge so i can see where the needle is at bc i think my truck might have one.... also wouldnt this mod hurt gas mileage?

I put the Jet TStat in my 4.7 about a month ago...haven't really noticed too much of a change except that i get slightly worse MPG now. But I probably still need to go and get a tuner to see any real results. On the bright side after looking at the DIY for the hemi I think it was a hell of a lot simpler to do the swap in the 4.7 since its easy to access it from underneath

I didn't say I found you guys one at a great price, I just said I found you one.
Although I paid $32 for mine after shipping. The Jet's are not cheap.
