Lift Questions, i did search
I am seeing web sites that list a 4.5"lift for a 06 1500 hemi, but rancho and skyjacker themselves only list them for 2500's. anyone have one on thier 1500?
I am wanting to run 35's. i may have to settle for 33's and a leveling kit though. I do tow a boat, traler, and 2 horse trailer from time to time. So i for sure am getting air bags. Can i run 35's with a leveling kit and air helpers in the rear? that is ideally what i would like to do.
anyone have a one or two inch body lift on their 06's Just trying to see what my options are.
thanks

I know a couple of guys having problems with the Fabtech 6" on newer coil-over Dodges. I've also read a post or two from guys who have it & love it. So, I don't know, could be the guys with issues are bad installs.
I have the Rancho 4" & love it. If you plan on stopping at 35's I whole heartily recommend it. Much better ride than any truck with 6" kit I've been in and/or driven. Plenty of lift for 35's, I've driven hard off-road with a 650# ATV in the bed and never have come close to bottoming out or scrubbing.
4 Wheel Parts currently has a special going on the Rancho 4" for your coil-over system (much cheaper than the kit for my '04 with Torsion Bar one). Price is under $1300 with RS9000X shocks for free. That's $360 in shocks for free! Their part # for the '06/'07 kit is RANR1305R9B. Here's a link:

Check Fat Bobs Garage. They had the 6" kit I bought for 400 less than anywhere else and shipping was included. I actually called Rocky Mountain Suspension to see if they would price match it and the guy said there was no way he could. Said Fat Bobs wasn't making any money on the lift. FB also seems to be very tech intelligent and quick to get it out.
Hope that helps save some cash.

i can tell you i have a 6' procomp with mx6 shocks and it rides just as good as a truck with stock 20s. i have also road in trucks with cheaper lifts like ruff country and they did not ride very well at all. when it comes to lifts you get what you pay for. also with 35s you might what to look into gears

A 1500 4x4 will just clear 35's with just the spacer/level kit. I got a buddy who did it on an '05. But don't overload it and don't use it hard off road, or it'll scrub. He's got a body lift kit in his garage to add so he can ride with us when I can get back up to Ga. If it's gonna be primarily a street truck, you can get by on it just fine.
For any kind of serious off-roading, you are going to want a suspension lift. Body lifts will handle the larger tires, but ride very rough off road compared to a suspension lift. I have had a total of 4 body lifts on various trucks and this is my 1st suspension lift. I always thought that riding off road was supposed to jar your kidneys to death till now. I'll only do suspensions lifts from now on. I may add a body lift to a suspension lift someday, if I ever get a live front axle truck again, but the suspension lift will always come first.
