I have a 07 1500 QC and have 2 kids. We routinely have to put people in the back and just the other night had my sister in law (5'2" and 300lbs) in the back with 2 kids and car seats. plenty of room no complaints.

I've had a car seat (tied to the teather system) and a booster seat for a 2 year old in back along with a teen-ager who didn't complain (trust me, she'd complain if she felt a moments discomfort)....The megacab would afford more room, but is a friggin' beast of a truck...Maybe try this, get a megacab w/a longbed (is there such a thing?)....If it won't fit in there it ain't fittin' in any light duty truck or SUV [sm=drooldude.gif]
they do have megacab longbeds however it is a custom thing that a shop makes

I had 2 kids with car seats, and my wife in the back with two dogs up front and a friend (wife wanted to watch t.v. with kids) and we went from Phoenix to L.A. with no problem.

I have a 06 1500 Qc 4X4 as a third car. I have 2 kids age 6 and 3 (a booster seat and a car seat). With both car seats in the back there is no way an adult or anyone over 90lbs. will be comfortable. It is also not easy to get in the back seat with the two car seats. Get a SUV or a mini van. Or get a sized truck with theFULL 4 doors like chevy or ford offers. I had a chevy 2500HD 4X4 crew cab and did not have a problem getting 2 car seats and an adult in the back and it was easy to get into the back of it. You will regret getiing a the Dodge QC with the carseats, but if you get the chevy or ford it will work. Go test drive each model and you will see what I mean.

Sitting in the middle shouldn't be an issue for an adult because everyone knows that the safest place for the child seat is in the middle. The adult should be sitting on doors, not the kids.

i have a 4yr old in a booster and an infant in a rear facing seat. plenty of room in my mega cab. we were given a qc as a loaner when they were detailing mine. with the driver seat back at a comfortable distance for me it hit the infant seat. pretty tight.

Sorry it took me too long to reply but here you go. I have a wife, a 6 year old(booster seat), a 4 year old(car seat), and a 16 month old(just moved from year facing seat in a tray to a car seat). When the baby was in an infant seat we had to put it in the middle to make the other to seats fit right. Now that she is in a car seat we put the two car seats on the outside and the booster in the middle for ease of loading. I can tell you that you can fit two car seats and an adult with no problem in the back seat of my truck. Now, when I had a 99' the rear facing seat would not fit so we traded it for a Durango. I HIGHLY suggest avoiding the 3rd row thing just for comfort. Moving seats to get to the third row is a pain. You do not need the Mega Cab (unless of course you need this as the excuse to get one) to fit two seats and an adult. If she doesn't believe you PM me and I will shoot some pics so you can show her. Hope that satisfies the situation.
