I had a Clifford put on my 05 Hemi. Never had a problem. They are all good: Viper, Clifford, Python... They are all the SAME lol.... it is like a Dodge vs. Chrysler vs Jeep.... same stuff....www.directed.com. I do know they all will work for you in your truck. As long as your truck has an AUTO tranny. Just look at the site and find the key fob style you like and buy the setup from that company. Viper is sold my Best Buy Clifford and Python are generally sold be aftermarket shops. Like audio stores..ect. Hope this helps.

Oh and as for "easy to install" they are all EASY IF you know the wiring of the vehicle... if not then a simple noise maker alarm will prove to be greek to you. Oh and most setups don't come with good instructions. They will have a diagram that shows what THEIR wires do..but it is up to you to get a dodge wiring diagram and find the right wire it is suppost attach to. I got lucky and had an audio place that did installs for free. had me in and out in 4 hours (that included the alarm, remote start, Window roll up/down from remote, and pressure triggers on every opening. Including bed cover, hood, tail gate, and rear window)

There are no decent ones that are easy to install. The cheap ones one ebay are just that cheap with no warranty. The electronics in these trucks are to susceptable to stray trons. I would suggest first finding a decent installer in your area and then see what he carries/installs. That way you get a good warranty on the system and the work. My local guy does Audiovox so I'm going with the Prestige system. DEI stuff is fine as well, but the quality of the work is the most important.

I had mine installed by a professional, and to date i haven't had any problems with it...The remote feature is great in extreme cold/hot weather.....Because then i don't have to go outside to start the vehicle .

If you do get one, make sure you get one with the remote which tells you by vibrating that your vehicle has been tampered with....

YES DefinitelyI agree. I have one that tells me everything. IT tells me what door is open, if the truck is on or off, and if tampered it tells me how and where (ex. Hit on driver side front). I've not had my truck anywhere cold yet so the remote start to warm it up hasn't been tested.... but I can say in the southern HOT states... it is nice to be able to start your truck in the checkout line so it is nice and cool when you get in.

OH Also get an extended rage antenna (if available). I can start mine from up to 1,000 feet Line of sight. (meaning in open air, no walls or obstructions). So it says anyways... never really tested it from THAT far away. I think the farthest I've tested was 500 feet and that's in the store.

EDIT: Here is a link to a NICE remote start that works from a MILE AWAY! (where was this whenI got mine) http://www.clifford.com/Products/Pro...?ProductID=701

This has been a hot topic, as of late. I'm sure if you do a search, you can get even more info.
