Ok I went on a longer drive and I can see a difference with the smoothness of the truck now. It does shift alot nicer but as far as performance I really don't see much of a difference. There might be a small one but that would be it. Don't get me wrong I still like the programmer and if I get better MPG then it's even better. Maybe will see better results with an exhaust and cai.

I had a Hypertech Programmer on my old 04 ram that worked very well, but it did have intake and exaust. The same set up I have now, in fact I am looking for a programmer to use for my new used 03 ram.

i would go superchips because i've never heard anything good about the hypertechs...... and ray im sure that with each mod you will notice a small difference

yea thats what I'm thinking too. Either way I am still happy with it and will let everyone know about the MPG improvement hopefully.

I know a lot of chevy gassers use hypertech. they like it, but I had superchips on my hemi and loved it. on my diesel I have the diablosport predator.
