engine cuts off

Default engine cuts off

engine cuts off while driving down road ,dodge has put new computer in and still acting up

When you say cuts off, like electrical? everything dead? or stalls?
If it's stalling while just running down the road, 98% of the time it's either EGR valve or a dirty throttle body.
Read a post a month ora few months orso ago on another Dodge forum, where dealer warraanty replaced PCM, still had same problem, dude started a thread, EVERYBODY said EGR. Guy goes back to dealer, they order another PCM, tells him it'll take 10-14 days, he asks about EGR, they tell him if it was EGR it would throw a code, so they don't even check it. A couple days and half a dozen stalls later he goes to another dealer, they warranty replace EGR and problem went away!!!
