3.7 VS 6.0 DIESEL
I have been reading some of the threads about making the 3.7 v6 faster and stronger and i though i had a funny story i had to tell. My buddy has a 04 ford f-250 6.0 turbo diesel that has multiple engine tunes and a Banks six gun equiped on it he drag races it at moroso speedway here in Florida and he runs high 15's. he also is on 37 inch tires and lift but i ran my 03 3.7 v6 ram manuel trans with 33 inch tires up against his ford disel and wooped his butt with a high 14. please ask how

The 6.0 never got off of Idle.
I use to Have a 1997 Ford F-350 with the 7.3 Power Stroke, It would smoke this underpower 3.7 V-6.
If it was not For 9-11-01 and getting laid Off from the Airlines I would still have that Truck but with 5 payments to go and no job I had to give it back to the bank Yea That Sucked.

I want to know how you ran 14's. That is pretty fast for a 3.7 you must ahve a list of mods that never ends.

Not much difference in power between my half ton 2 wheel drive 3.7L and my '93 1 ton Chevy 4x4 6.5td I had for 14 years. 0-60 I would say would be a dead heat. 60 on up however the 6.5td would take it easy.

5 simple mods
1)K&N intake system
2)Throttle body spacer
3)IAT sencor resistor
4)Water methonal injection
5)AND THIS ONE WILL MAKE YOUR HEAD TURN Electric Supercharger
AND no it was 1/4 very funny
my buddy probly would run better times if he didnt spull up the trurbo and spin his tires down the track but hes hard headed and wont take advise from anyone

no i dont but my buddy might it was one of those nights when he was testing his truck and dared me to race him i will find out if he still dose but i dont have a scanner maybe a digital camera will work
