Default Old brake rotor disposal

How do you go about disposal of old brake rotors?

I just replaced my crappy (warped) OEM's, but my garbageman won't take my old rotors (which weigh a ton!)

Use em for something else.

I bet they'd make great boat anchors.

Take them to a local shop that has scrap metal. They get money for it, so they should take them.

My garbageman wouldn't take my old rotors either, so I just went and dumped them after hours in the local Midas store's scrap pile in back. Midas and shops like it get paid for that stuff, so they usually don't mind at all.

Hold onto those rotors if you think they're warped.
Read the info in the link.

Go to the home page to read up some more about brake technowlodgy and especially break bedding in to make sure you don't cause yourself more problems with your new rotors.
I've just replaced all mine and gone throgh this whole process.
