Just checked out that site for different problems...the closest I came up with is flashover. Maybe the plugs were installed from the factory incorrectly. They came out like they were installed with an impact wrench. I did install the new ones at 15 lbs torque. Just never have seen this before.

You should have a nice tan/coffee colour to the plug.
