Anyone running with the SCT tuner in the 05 4.7? Just curious how it is. Any difference in power? Pros & cons please.

Man I just found out about the SCT tuner. I wonder if anyone has ityet? Finally something for the 4.7...

I'm surprised there hasn't been more talk about it.

i havent heard much about it yet im sure it will be great for your trucks but i think they have to be custom tuned....

Yes, I'm a custom pcm writer with SCT. Each unit requires custom writing. I can give you a really niceinitialtune that will do quite a bit and if you can get me your WOT a/f #'s, I can tune on that. I can give you 2 tunes for $599. PM me if you are interested.

I grew up working on cars with my dad but havent messed with them much the last 10 years or so other than basic maintenance stuff. So, terms like WOT and a/f#s are foreign to me lol...Can you explain as if speaking to a novice. Man I feel dumb lol

I'd REALLY like to get myself a KRC 210, Springs, Retainers, & Damper for Christmas without having to mess with a piggyback!!!

Prior to the SCT the best I could do at the track was a 9.91 in the 1/8... the SCT has brought that down to a 9.49... Please make note of the 14.99@89.29MPH quarter mile time.... OMG what a difference! If their are ANY questions please feel free to contact me. HEMIFEVER can hook you guys up with a tune you will NOT regret!

WOT = wide open throttle
a/f = air fuel #'s. The lower the # the richer you are. The higher the # the leaner you are. Lean is horsepower and rich is tq (to a certain point).

I'd love to, honestly, but I'm 3 miles from Marty... and that's oneof the few installs on my truck that I'm not comfortable doing myself.
