all lock nuts do is keep the average thief from stealing your wheels and slow down the pros a little trust me if they want it bad enough they will get but if they dont get it the will destroy it any ways so your a stuck still buying more no matter what it is from wheels to radios

They don't need to cut them off. A good tire company should have a lock key removal set which is pretty much what SLCHemi described. In my case they needed a powerful impact . Lucky for me there was still enough of the lug for the socket to grab.

Well, the key is still good enough to get 3 of mine off. So that's what I'll do, and then maybe tack weld the last one on, just to get it off.
The studs are 9/16", Mr. 2005 Daytona.
