Im sure this has been asked a thousand times but I couldnt find anything on here... anyway my check engine lightcomes on and off and now it has been staying on. How do I retrieve a code by turning the ignition on and off? By the way I have a 2007 1500 thanks

On mine, an 02, it's off to on (assessories) three times and then leave it on assessories...should show you a code...if not, a local auto parts store will read it for free

the code came up for low oil pressure but my gauge reads fine and there has been no drop in performance or any unusual noises. Maybe a bad sensor? Where would it be located? Thanks again

hmm...not sure where the sensor would be at. make sure to check all your relays and fuses, one of them could be shorted or something of that nature. and just my .02 if you haven't already, I highly suggest getting either a Chilton's or Haynes manual for your truck. They've never steered me wrong.

A 2007 truck should still be under warranty. Take it to the dealer.
