Yea, Warn Trans4mer is correct, I don't know the weight, but I put it on and it is VERY heavy. That damn winch mount is heavy as hell too.....

I guess you're going to force me to ask the obvious question..How much did the winch run you?

About $800 for the grille guard, $275 for brush guards, $125 for the winch mount and then after spending all that, I cheaped out and got the 8000# winch cause it was on sale for $529!!! My truck was about 6000# then and the Warn 9000# was over $300 more and I couldn't see paying almost 40% more $ for just another 12% pulling capacity. However, after adding the weight of the winch, guards, etc. not to mention all the recovery gear I'm carrying, I'm closer to 7000# and should have opted for at least a 9000# winch.

Once my mother recovers from her chemo and I can (hopefully) get a job in my field again, I hope to pick up another Jeep Wrangler (I've had two previously) to work on as aweekend play vehicle. For those who don't know - I quit my job as a network administrator and moved 350 miles to my parents house as my step-father had a debilitating stroke and soon after my mom was diagnosed with cancer - and I am working as a golf pro at a course near their house resulting in about a 60% cut in income. Anyway, when I can get back onmy feet again financially, and possibly pick up that Jeep, my thinking is to get a bigger Winch, possibly the 1200# model with the built in air compressor, and put this 8000# model on the Jeep.
