Default Front Tow Hooks

I don't know if this has been asked before but, is there a kit or does someone have a home made mod. for front tow hooks for a 07 1500 Ram. I looked at a 2500 and they look a bit different. I don't why 2500's came with hooks but not 1500's. Any help would be appreciated.

U can get them thru dodge if u want them. They are a bolt on application, but u have to drop the bumper to install them.

Yea, but at like $125 for the pair. You'd be better off fabricating something yourself. I have a grille guard that uses the holes for the tow hooks, so I welded U-bolts under the winch bracket of the grille guard and attached 6.5 ton clevis' to them. About a $20 project.

I would have prolly just welded the U-bolts to the frame where the factory tow hooks would have gone, or fabricated something out of the U-bolts to go through the factory holes or something. Anyway, my point is, I think $125 for a couple of steel hooks is insane!!!

some 1500's do come with factory tow hooks... check ebay, someone's bound to have something on there that's cheaper than $125!

Yep, they're expensive. My 03 15000 didn't have them so I found the bar on Ebay - forget the price. My 2500 didn't come with them - found them from a Dodge dealer on Ebay for $103 - easy bolt-on. No need to drop the bumper for the 1500 or the 2500 I had (have)
