I did mine, but i didn't use a srt-10 button. It looks weird to me. I put a regular black button that mounted right up with a little love. It is cool because it doesn't stand out and mine doesn't start with the key anymore.

 

Can we see some pictures of that setup? Some people may prefer that setup and it would be good to hae a referance.

 

Looks awesome man, are you gonna post up any sort of instruction on how to install it? Maybe even modify it so that you dont even need the key?

 

yeah i'm gonna go a DIY write up after i finish my DIY write up of how to install leather seats...so hopefully sometime by the middle of the month i'll having something put together....as for not needing the key, i'm gonna do some lookin into it and see what it would take and then go from there....in my earlier post i said i would like to mount a hidden switch that when pressed would give the truck power (like turning the key to RUN) and then pushing this button would start the truck but havent looked into it quite yet

Hey all,

before anyone raises the do a search flag, I did and I found alot of pics and comments. I even looked at a few other sites, but I did not see what I was after. I have a 2008 4x4 so placing it in the stock location is not an option as it is the same spot as the 4wd switch. So what I am after is where you guys put your who have a 2006,7, or 8? And if I could get some pictures for ideas I would appreciate it.
