Is this too cheesy?
Yes I installed it a few nights ago. It only took about 45 minutes to clean the hood surface, measure the correct location, than trace the outline on the hood with a wet erase marker, peel off the backing on the self adhesive strips which are already on the scoop and carefully set it on the hood. I made sure I took my time setting it down because I didn’t want to have to pull it back off and risk damaging the adhesive strips.
The color match was perfect and the scoop took the trucks already aggressive looks to the next level.
While I was pulling into the grocery store parking lot the other day, I noticed a guy getting out of his Chevy P/U looking at my truck as he nearly walked into a light pole.
It’s bad to the bone! I’m very happy with it.
I’m considering removing Ram 1500 emblems on the side doors to give the truck a cleaner look. I don’t think you have to advertise the name on these trucks to identify them; no other truck comes close to the aggressive looks of our Dodges.
