Wind / Road Noise ........ How quiet is your cab??
The last couple of model years the Ram was supposed to get quieter
because of 'QuietSteel' which is two layers of steel with an inner layer of sound deadener,
and also because of laminated glass in the side and vent windows...not just the windshield.

My new '07 2500 4x4 QC is the quietest vehicle I've ever driven.
Everyone who's ridden in it comments on how smooth & quiet it is.
Guess I got lucky?

My 06 has alot of wind noise, especially at highway speeds. Mine, I believe is the door not sealing as tight as it could around the door seal. If I pull in on the top partof the door while driving down the highway, it goes away. I like the crude but apparently effective, pull on the top of the door to bend it in a little trick mentioned above. But as another said, at $30k plus, we shouldn't have to be resorting to backyard mechanic tricks to make things work properly. Oh yeah, installation of the Vent Visors increased the wind noise on my truck.
When I bought my '03 QCSB last August (with 86K on it), it was a welcome change from my '01 RCSB. The '01 wasn't real wind/road noisy, but the QC is much quieter. Now that is has Magnaflows and my heavy foot, there's a different racket coming into the cabin, but I just turn the radio up
. The VentVisors made my 300C a bit more noisy in the wind intrusion arena. __________ Maybe you should try some of that sound-deadening material in the doors? One brand is "Dyno-mat". Seems a bit pricey, but apparently makes the cabin quieter.

Mine is actually really quiet. The only time I ever had a problem was the other day when I was getting crosswind gusts of 40-50mph. My truck is actually quieter than my Subaru, but I attribute that to the open fram windows on the Subie.

Look inside your front fenders after opening the front doors, Thier are foam inserts that may have come off, Dodge went cheap here.
My 06 reg cab 2500 is quiet, but I have had issues with foam inserts.
I installed the Dynamat sound deadening material on my 05 QC. It made a world of difference for the tire/road noise. Wind noise coming from the doors was also reduced. But, there's still a good amount of wind noise from around the windows.
