Default Question about headers...

I was on the jba website looking for headers for my moms jeep liberty(3.7L) and it raised this question. since its the same engine in both vehicles could i get the headers for the liberty and put it on my truck???

Not sure about this, but I highly doubt itll work for our trucks. Primarily because jeep probably designed their engine in a different sort of fasion. But, then again, I have no clue. If it does work, let me know?

well i wanted to see if anyone knew, before i went and wasted money on them. but i know its the same engine and ive looked at my moms jeep liberty headers and my trucks headers and i cant see any difference.

That would be interesting to know. Try to contact JBA and see if they know. I would think that if they fit both that they would be smart enough to list it for both to make more sales.

ive also noticed that alot of stuff for the 4.7 can be swapped into the 3.7. i found pulleys and the same ones go into the 4.7 and the 3.7. i wonder what else is interchangeable?

Underdrive pulleys? Hmmm, that would add about 5 hp.

interesting, i never knew they made underdrive pulleys for the 3.7L series.....woohoo for more performance parts....does anyone know if any companies make performance headers?

thats what i started the thread about. no one makes headers for the 3.7l. thats why i wanted to know if the headers for the jeep liberty would fit.

Yeah i just realized...me being stupid as i am. If they are in fact interchangable, that would definetely be a benefit to all of us v6 owners...
