Hello, I have a question on How i find the Rear Axle ratio.
I have a 2006 1500, with the Hemi, 4X4.. Bought i used so i never seen the original sheet on the truck.
It is a QC, short bed, with the 245/70-17 tires
If i read correct there are two available, a 3.55 and a 3.92 ?
Looked around on the rear diff, didnt see any indication
Any Help would be appreciated

 

Should be a sticker in your glove box with the ratio and some other info.

I just bought my 2003 and have the 3.92 ratio. Have a metal tag under a rear cover bolt with 3.9 on it.

 

should say on the rearend housing towards the back of the vehicle. If that is the factory wheels i would guess 3.55 m8. On the 07 the 3.92 came with 20" wheels.

 

from my knowledge, most of the 4x4's come with the 3.92, but im not totally sure. check the glove box, there should be that sticker there like they said.

 

mine is 4wd but has the 3.55 due to the 17" wheels, i will eventually go to a 4.10 though

 

Looked in the glove box didnt find a sticker or anything.. I have looked around on the rear diff, i know alot of them of trucks have a tag rear the info but i didnt ficd one on this truck..
