Well for one, there are so many more options open for lift kits available to you since you have a 4x4. I know that Rancho's Quicklift system or their 4" lift kit is very well known..Fabtech and Procomp also make pretty excellent 6" lift kits.....But it first comes down to how big you want your tires to be, and engine mods, etc....

well im completly new to the truck world... As far as "engine mods" go for now i was thinking intake, exhaust, and headers probably. I want a truck that I can do some light off roading/mudding in, but still be a decent daily driver, so what wheel/tire size combos are good? lift size? ect? any recomendations at all are a huge help.

i would go 4 inch lift 35 inch tires..... that is a good size for a daily driver and a mudder!!! also with mods i would say intake, exhaust, and TUNER you can fix your speedo gain gas mileage and performance...

as far as tuners go there are a lot of companies that are about to release tuners i believe edge and diablo (which has been delayed a million times already) will be some good choices to look for if in a hurry you can go with a superchips flashpaq...

Take a look at mine. I have a 6 inch lift by Fabtech. I bought it like this from the dealer so I don't have a cost for it. I am satisfied with the way it rides and handles.

I have the Rancho on my '04, clears 35's easily, it's bullet-proof and handles better than stock both on & off pavement. You need to check with the manufacturer though, it's rated for the '07, but only stated as clearing 34.5" on '06 & '07's...
