Hey Folks
I am considering importing a 6.7 litre cummins. However, we don't have specialised fuels here. Diesel is diesel here. We have no choice and no gas stations. I get my years diesel by sending 2 30000 litre fuel trucks, over 1700 kms and buy the fuel straight off a tanker on the Mozambique coast (82 cents a litre if you interested).
Should I import a 6.7 to Africa?

Not sure. I've never been asked, since all the diesel sold here is now ULSD. I would guess that the only component affected would be the cat, but don't take my word for it; I'm not really a diesel guy. Hopefully someone else here can tell you for certain.

No. If you try running it with regular diesel it'll tear your your engine up, and it most likely won't run right. Same if you use bio diesel in the new ULS oil burners. It really sucks if you ask me, but because of the grass eating hippies running the show the auto makers have had to make it so you don't put anything else in your fuel tank.
