Washed my Baby
Finally got time today to wash my baby, and decided to take some decent pictures of her at last.
Also a pic of my cutout I put in yesterday

The cutout sounds GREAT. I had just a single Flowmaster Super 40 on there and I thought that was loud. After driving with that cutout open, the Super 40 sounds dead quiet, so quiet I can't stand it
last weeknd put my plate to my cutout back on to go hunting and my truck felt like a big sissy lol
the second i got back from hunting that sucker came right back off- in the rain at that lol!

a cutout is a Y in the exhaust before the muffler. if you open it the exhaust dumps out in front of the muffler. this will be similar to removing the exhaust. it will require slightly more fuel to run this way but insome cases will add some power.
i believe that a cutout that is capped will be less powerful than a standard exhaust in that you are creating some backpressure at the cutout. you will have some gasses trying to go to the capped side and will meet resistance and bounce back, creating back pressure. probably not enough to notice by the seat of the pants but i think a stopwatch would show it.
