Default Cutout's???

now you guys with your cut out's do you put it before your cat or you muffler? my muffler is pretty much free flowin so i dont see a point to puttin one on if its before muffler? would like some advise

thats what i figured but afew people where tellin me before the muffler and that didnt make much sense to me.. also do you loose power and low end torque from them?

Before the cats is before the muffler. In fact it is right after your headers or y-pipe. The whole point of putting them on is to gain power, so no you will not lose anything. Most people gain around 10HP.

i have been hearin so much different things from people with cut outs helo ill take your word over they'res i asked about them and they said only good if you want it loud they dont anything besides make it loud but i am gonna get one.

I have flowmasters on right now and I have been wanting to get my exhaust dump. Which would be better performance and sound wise dump or buying a cutout? I want my exhaust to be lounder and more aggressive sounding.

Running cutouts is like running open headers, soundwise.

after listenin to videos of cut outs and compared to my truck they dont sound that different
