Like title says on my dads 04 dodge ram 1500 5.7L all the switches work on the climate control but the heater blow motor doesnt kick on at all on any speed...one day it just stopped working totally with no signs of wearing out...any relay of any sort I should check cause all my fuses look good.

you know what exact fuse to look for and where on this truck...like fuse number for the blower motor???

 

I took blower motor out and put it in my other dodge and it works. took out the resistor and put it in other truck and that works...what fuse number controls the heater...thanks

I am having the same problem with mine. I have checked all the fuses that go to the blower motor and can not fig. it out.

 

yz125rider21 - can you try swapping the control units between the trucks? That's the last component involved that you haven't addressed.

 

actually did that yesterday and still same thing...isn't there a fuse anywhere for the heater blower unit???

 

does it work if you tilt the steering column up and down if it does look at the wiring harness just behind the turn signal it supplies power to the blower and the plug that is in the column becomes loose and burns up but does work when the column is tilted. mine did the same thing i ended up eliminating the plug in the column and has work ever since.

 

Sound like the wiring on the ignition switch is burnt, comin problem with these
