Steering wheel stereo control, Don't have it. What would i need to get, anybody ever thought of that.

 

Would be quitea project... Careful with the airbags. I would think you're talking a new steering wheel.

 

Aftermarket stereo with remote control...

 

I would think that the amount of work, and cost incurred would not be worth it at all.

 

Buy a new truck

 

My wife was wanting it on her Trailblazer, soI checked on it, it was going to be around $1200 just for the setup. No need to ask, it was not done!!

 

i've seen it done on another forum. some guy dremel'd out the holes after taking apart the steering wheel. If I remember right, the connector was already there. [/align]

 

I have an aftermarked head unit(alpine) my 03 had steering mounted controls and i miss them.

 

I had it for a year before I even knew I had it. ThunderRoad 04.I never saw it before that. I was just driving down the road one day and I felt something under the steering well so I pressed it and the radio changed stations. Wow that was neat.

 

I guess reaching 2 feet for the stereo controls it just too far and too difficult.
