Thank you all for the input on delivery time. Seems to be all over the spectrum. I live in Central NY and do not know if that will have a good or bad impact on delivery time once it leaves the factory which I was told is in Mexico.

I have learned that my new truck is on a train in Arkansas but cannot get any delivery date. Does anyone know when I can expect it in Central New York?

I am really driving myself nuts over delivery of my truck. I have now found out it left Mexico on December 5th and now ( december 17th ) is in Decatuer Illinois.
I cannot find out from anyone including my dealer as to approx when I can expect it. It is going Bufallo, NY via rail from Illinois and then by truck to Syracuse, NY where I live.
There is a $1000.00 bonus cash on it along with a 3500.00 rebate and the dealer says if I do not get the truck by year end when the bonus cash expires I will not be entitled to it. Does anyone know if that is correct. It's not my fault if they take their time delivering it.
Is there anyone out there in the know???? Any experience getting delivery from this route?
Thanks
Bill

You only get what the rebate/cash back deal is upon delivery. I took the chance back in January of this year with mine and got lucky. The rebate was still there and on March 1, the day I picked her up; Dodge started a special with free hemi engines. I’m glad I had ordered the hemi! You still have a little over two weeks. Good luck with her and let us know when she arrives. Red

Welcome to the new daddy waiting game! LOL. Seriously, my ordered and built 2500 sat on a train in various Mayberry towns for what seemed like weeks before it reached the truck transport destiny. Been there, done that. It will come. Once it hits the truck delivery stage, they should be able to nail down a vague ETA. My train trip ended in Illinois so I cannot shed any light on heading east. Ironically, resigned to the fact that it was in rail delivery limbo, I had stopped in on a friday afternoon at the dealership to purchase parts for a mopar project, and as I drive into side lot, there it was! I'm like, how come they didn't call me? Turns out it was just delivered an hour prior along with some other Rams and hadn't even been checked in yet so no one really knew it was there, not even my salesman. I was a little freaked out by that but after alerting the salesman, he said that was the first time a customer notified the dealership that their new vehicle was in. He asked when I wanted to pick it up. I said ASAP of course so he had it prepped and ready to go by 6:00 PM.

As for my rebates and employee pricing and such, they said regardless of when the incentives expire, they will be honored 100%. My Sales Contract had it all laid out. All the fine print blah blah in the incentive sections clearly indicated they would be honored. They verbally indicated such when I inquired plus the sales manager initialed or N/Aed those things too so they couldn't screw me over. Don't let them take advantage of you. That would be pretty low if they did especially during the slowest time of the year for car sales. You do have the upper hand.

Check over your sales contract. If they begin bailing on you, as harsh as this may sound, you can always refuse the truck AND take back your deposit (easily done if put on your VISA card, not so easy if you deposited with cash). If it comes to that, a smart sales manager should more than honor the incentives regardless of when they expire.

Tim
