It is available when you order the light package with your truck like I did. I do think it should be standard equipment, but it’s not. Red

I have one in my '04, but youcould do what I did in my cheapy little 4 cylinder daily driver when I had it.
I bought one of those lights you tap and it comes on. They have the original one with a bulb that takes one AA battery and a different one that has a LED and uses those little flat batteries that one of those keychain lasers use. I put a piece of velcro on the back and on the underside of the hood, worked great. The LED one is brighter and batteries last about 5x longer, but it costs about 3x more than the original one...

Its a option, Dodge is messed up with thier options vers standard equipment, I don't have lighted cruse control, I drive a 06 2500 SLT, led lights flash lights work better and you don't have to worry abought the under hood light draining the battery.

Here is a link. You can buy it here, you need the light and the wire harness. You need both.

You also don't have lights in your glove box, ash tray or visor mirrors...all part of the same option.

I have it on my truck. You really can't see anything with it...I think you'd be better off using a flashlight.
