115mph is not my top speed now. My truck would have kept going but i was afraid of the cops. My gauges worked just fine after i turned the key they did not fail and yes the starter does not in gauge. They probly removed this function with the 07's because of the tip start.

 

I did this in my old 02.You do lose the gaugesand after a while the check Gauge light pops on.Plus Driving at that speed with 1 hand on the steering wheel and one on the keys aint really the brightest thing to do.

But that cost you atleast $400!! lol who wants to do something so extravant? (very very sarcastic statement)

 

Personally, I think that if you want to drive your truck that fast, you're obviously putting money into modding it anyway, the tuner is just the next logical step... I'm going to agree with CRMRAM on this one, this is a VERY unsafe workaround just to see how fast your truck can go. I wouldn't dare imagine doing anything that could take my concentration off the road at that speed....

Mine is limited to 110 at the moment! Have a 2005 1500 5.7 hemi qc, what do you guys think is the best way with superchips? Have a couple of track days in April and would like to be able to take her to the max on the straights. Had a look at superchips web page and really not sure what i need.
